Tips for Internship Interview

Assalamualaikum dan Selamat Hari Wanita..
Disebabkan besok sy ade interview untuk practical training, jadi hari ni sy nak share siket tips2 untuk pegi interview.. sebelum2 ni dah penah pegi interview, tapi tak terpikir pulak nak google2 tips2 interview ni.. Bila dah failed interview tersebut, baru terpikir nk carik info pasal interview ni..wuwuw..

Persediaan awal :


1) Sebelum pegi interview, try buat research pasal company tu. Review website dan amik ape2 maklumat yang penting. Kalau ade kenalan atau senior2 yang penah buat internship kat tempat tersebut, tanya pengalaman diorang. Background knowledge on the organization is impressive to an interviewer.

2) Dress well for the interview. Overdressing is better than dressing too casually. Choose darker colors rather than light ones to look professional and conservative. Bagi yang berbaju kurung, elakkan pemakaian baju kurung yang bercorak bunga2 sangat..untuk menampakkan formaliti.

3) Try practice jawab sample2 soalan yang berkemungkinan. Contoh2 soalan boleh google2 kat internet. Practice ni untuk gain confident..tapi jangan memorize jawapan tersebut, nanti menampakkan kita macam robot..

4) Prepare questions to ask. Kadang2 interviewer ni akan buka Q&A session, kalau nak tanya apa2 pasal position ke, company, etc. Ask about the type of work you'll be doing for the internship and what you'll learn. (tapi nak lagi bagus, tanye la bape elaun dia nak kasi..hoho)

5) Bring samples of your work. Design or writing samples, presentations, group projects and research papers are all examples of work that an employer might like to see, depending on the position.

6) Last but not least, be yourself during the interview. If you're nervous and feel it's showing, simply mention that you're a bit nervous. Interviewers are usually sympathetic to that. Your goal is to show them who you are and what you can offer.
